NACWA Elects New Officers, Board Members

NACWA’s Board of Directors elected 2017-2018 Officers on July 25, to lead the Association as it serves its members. Catherine R. Gerali, District Manager of Denver’s Metro Wastewater Reclamation District was elected NACWA President. Elected Vice President: David St. Pierre, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, IL. Treasurer: Mark S. Sanchez, Executive Director of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority, NM; and Secretary, John P. Sullivan, Chief Engineer, Boston Water & Sewer Commission, MA.

NACWA’s membership also elected new Board Members. Joining the Board are (left to right) Gordon Pederson, Manager of Facility Services for Gulf Coast Authority, TX, representing Region 6; Sue McCormick, Chief Executive Officer, Great Lakes Water Authority, MI, elected to an At-Large seat; Joshua Schimmel, Executive Director, Springfield Water & Sewer Commission, MA, representing Region 1; Enrique Zaldivar, Director, City of Los Angeles – LA Sanitation, CA, representing Region 9; Michael P. Slevin, Environmental Services Director, City of Tacoma, WA, representing Region 10; and Kyle Dreyfuss-Wells, Chief Executive Officer, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, OH, representing Region 5.
